The short version

Where this equipment fits

A pair of plate-loaded adjustable dumbbells with Quick-Lock screws and a 75-pound maximum per dumbbell in the listed set. The stand is separate. The empty handle weight is not the same as the assembled starting weight with locking screws. Follow the manual when calculating load.

A good fit if…

Someone who prefers a plate-and-locking-screw arrangement and has room to organize the loose plates.

Look elsewhere if…

Loose plates need organized storage.

A different adjustment rhythm

This system asks you to move plates and secure locking screws rather than select from a nested stack with a pin or dial. That is the main comparison to make. Some buyers may prefer understanding the plates in front of them; others may want fewer loose parts between changes. We have not timed the process or tested it in a workout.

Count every component of the load

Handles, screws and plates all contribute to the assembled weight. The product page distinguishes the bare handle from the starting setup with screws, so do not use a single headline range as your loading arithmetic. Follow the operating instructions and verify the assembly before use. The Plate Loading Calculator is for user-entered inventories and does not certify this system’s setup.

Make space for the plates you remove

A plate-loaded pair needs organized storage for unused plates as well as a resting place for the dumbbells. The stand is not included in this listed set. Compare the whole arrangement and handling routine, including delivery and floor access, before deciding that the pair alone represents the complete purchase.

Before ordering

Check included handles, screws and plates, the assembled starting load and whether a stand or expansion is needed.
